Children’s Fest 2007 – Celebrating the Kerala Heritage

In connection with Kerala Piravi and Children’s Day, this year also LIMCA is organising Children’s Festival with various competitions for our children. The event will take place on Saturday, 10th November 2007 at Broadgreen High School, Old Swan, Liverpool. The programs start at 9:00am in the morning.

Our children are immensely talented. LIMCA is committed to laud and encourage their talents. Children’s Fest is an ideal platform for them to showcase their talents and skills.

LIMCA cordially invite you to partake in the Children’s Fest. Please encourage and support your children to participate in the competitions. Participating is more important than winning.

This year’s competitions revolve around the theme: “Celebrating the Kerala Heritage”. Registration form and details of the competitions can be downloaded from this website. Please return the duly completed registration forms to LIMCA latest by 1st of November 2007. This is very important for the successful administration of the event. We regret to advise that late entries will not be accepted at all.

Kalaprathibha and Kalathilakam awards will be given to a boy and a girl respectively, who wins the most number of points for individual items. Details can be found on the registration form.

LIMCA will be honouring the children who have won any special awards from their schools or councils. A special award will also be presented to the student from Liverpool who won top GCSE grades. Please send your entries with proof, to the undersigned, latest by 1st November 2007.
